Waynetown, Oct 22 - Mrs. Minerva Miller Quillin, 78, died at Culver Hospital in Crawfordsville Saturday night at 6:43 o'clock. She had been a patient at the hospital for the past 31 days. The deceased was born Feb 11, 1866 near New Richmond, the daughter of Irvin and Sarah Groendyke Miller. She was married in January 1884 to Thomas A. Quillin at the old Miller homestead near New Richmond. Mrs. Quillin was a member of the Liberty New Light Church and Order of Eastern Star at Waynetown. The survivors include four sons; Clare J. Quillin and James T. Quillin both of Crawfordsville; Harry M. Quillin of Sheridan and Walter L. Quillin of Waynetown; a daughter, Mrs. Orville R. Hankins of South Bend; a sister, Mrs. Dorothea Conroe of South Bend; 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. The husband preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held at the Waynetown Christian Church Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock with Rev. Fred Sharp in charge. The body will be in state at the Grenard & Servies Funeral Home until one hour preceding the services. Burial in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery.
